This is my kids with my two best friends. Taken on a beach near Newquay, Cornwall a couple of years ago. A great day at the beach, splashing in the sea, flying a kite, eating ice-cream.

Dream

This is www.photofriday.com this weeks subject is Dream. My dream since hitting puberty has been to be a rock star. Hasn't happened yet, but in the words of ELO, Hold on tight to your dreams.

Well Dom took his first Holy communion. It was a journey fraut with perils, as his Apsperger moments often looked like preventing him, but he did it, and did it well. I am so proud of him. Its a bit weird me bringing him up a catholic when I am C of E, but armed with my copy of "Catholism for Dummies", I'm just about managing.

We had a buffet afterwards with lots some relatives, and my best friends Ali and Mike. They brought a big cake which Dom, with some trepidation, got to chop up a bit. We had a lovely afternoon, and Dom was pleased that he could replenish his DS game collection with the proceeds from his congratulation cards. Now he just has to wait patiently for them to be delivered.
